quail growing
cages
I needed to make some button quail growing cages this year so I decided to take pictures along the way. Button quail need lots of space as they can be pretty aggressive. I found that if you separate the sexes as soon as you can tell, they do a lot better. Aslo I didn't have a lot of space to build the cages in so this is what I came up with. The room where I built them is 8' by 8'. They growing cages are roughly 7' high 4' wide 4'deep. Then divided into 6 cages with each one 8" high.
I took pictures of the room before I cleaned it up and painted it. As you can see needs lots of work.
